Whether you come to us with architects drawings, a clutch of magazines or a scribble on the back of a coaster (we’ve seen it all!) we’ll help you take your ideas forward. Anyone who has commissioned us before will tell you we like a good natter!
Sizing it up…
After our initial chat we will generally arrange a site visit if it’s required and have travelled the length and breadth of the British Isles doing just that. (When will someone in the Maldives order one of our kitchens??) Don’t worry if it’s still a building site, we can help you visualise the potential. This visit will help gauge exactly what it is you’re looking for, especially where kitchens are concerned. We will look at functionality, aesthetics, size and proportion, living and growing space (it’s surprising how many couples multiply when designing a house! ) and budget. We will also start to think about finishes, colours and handles although there is time to come back to this once we are under way.
Getting involved…
Once you have given us the go ahead we will produce rather nice drawings, plans and a works schedule for your project. Don’t forget your appliances, we deal with a range of suppliers like Aga, Smeg, Miele etc…and we can sweet talk them into the best prices. We can also help put you in contact with other trades if required. During the build process we will keep you informed, whether you like it or not, and you are encouraged to pop in and see how it’s looking. For the premium service, cakes and biscuits always help!
Ta dah!
We like to install kitchens ourselves whenever possible or outsource to tried and trusted fitters when not. Before we go we need those all important photographs, so brace yourselves, (undies off the radiator please!)
