1. Do you have any stock?
All our kitchens and furniture are hand made to order, although we do hold some pieces in our showroom for sale which you can see in our online store. If its a bespoke commission, please contact us with your requirements.
2. What are your lead times?
Everything we make is handmade to customers requirements so our lead times can vary. Please contact us with your requirements and we can discuss timescales.
3. Do your prices include delivery?
All our prices are inclusive of VAT but delivery is not included. Please contact us with your full post code for a quote.
4. How do I order?
We feel that face to face works best but if you can’t get to the workshop give us a call or drop us and email and we can take it from there.
5. Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we take a 50% deposit with the balance being due on manufacture. Please see our terms & conditions
6. What are the payment options?
You can pay via cash, cheque, BACS transfer, credit or debit card or sausages
7. Do you have a showroom or workshop we can visit?
Yes and the kettle is always on and biscuit barrel full.
8. Is all your furniture ‘self assembly’?
It is where required like kitchens and tables. We design and make freestanding furniture but beware, its normally very heavy in one piece!
9. Do you deliver nationally?
Yes, we deliver throughout the UK regularly and we can also arrange european and world wide deliveries. Collections are also welcome.
10. Do you assemble on delivery?
The delivery charge will include installation where required.
11. What type of reclaimed timber do you use?
We use mainly pine, pitch pine and oak but also carry certain others like iroco, ash, elm, beech
12. Do you use any new wood?
Nope, never! There is no need! Everything is made from 100% reclaimed timber
12. Do you use varnish, stains or wax?
We use a mix of natural oils and waxes. If you want it painted we use Farrow & Ball Eco paints.
13. Is your furniture a matt or gloss finish?
Depends on what you fancy? We use either a matt or satin finishing wax which can give you the exact finish you want. Samples are readily available.
14. What biscuits should I bring to my appointment?
We find that Jaffa Cakes, Oreo’s and Bourbons work best, but for 5 Star customer service its always Lemon Drizzle Cake!
