Trudy & Gary

Trudy knew exactly what she wanted from the off, which always helps! Clutching an armful of magazines she came in, designed alongside ourselves and ordered her kitchen. We decided on an Ash top, incorporating stained glass cabinets and a plate rack. Then she told us she was going to paint it! ‘No’, we said but actually it looks pretty cool.

Andy

Andy had recently bought a period cottage in Belford and was looking for an kitchen to be in-keeping with the character of the house. The kitchen was to incorporate the floor standing oil boiler and house their dishwasher. This was no problem and we made their kitchen from reclaimed floor joists, king posts and oak beams for the worktop. This kitchen sits nicely in his sympathetically restored cottage, next to one of our dining tables too!

Our kitchen

I finally got round to making our own kitchen after 3 years of waiting, just before we sold our house actually!! We love open storage and cluttered, eclectic styles so went for ladder storages and open shelves to complement our ledge and brace style doors. This time we decided to use Iroco, reclaimed from science worktops and we love it, so did BBC Good Homes Magazine!

Vicky

This was one of the most enjoyable kitchens we have done to date, with a very strict deadline to hit. After washing the dishes in her bath for over a year while building an extension Vicky came to us for her kitchen but had an 8 week deadline to hit before she went on holiday. We were confident of the deadline and managed to do it with days to spare, much to Vicky’s relief. The outcome was fantastic and this kitchen has been featured in many magazines and newspaper pull outs, quite rightly so in our opinion!

Steve & Tina

Steve is a bit of an Ebay nut, collecting the bizarre and the beautiful from across the world and had quite a collection by the time we got round to sorting out his kitchen. We were asked to incorporate an old range door, floor grates, cast plaques and an original mortuary slab!! This has got to be our most strange request so far, but I think we pulled it off. We used a range of reclaimed Victorian doors for the timber doors, reclaimed flooring for the carcassing and sliced oak beams for the worktops. Steve used hundreds of reclaimed fireplace tiles for the walls, I think it looks fantastic!
